Your daily LinkedIn post idea, by The Content Lab

Question: How do you personally define product-market fit?

Below is a rough example of what a post could look like for this prompt. Feel free to edit it to reflect your own experience.

Post Template:

Hook:

I used to think product market fit was a feeling.

Tease:

My founder friends would say things like, “You’ll just know when you have it.”

And I believed them.

I spent six months chasing that feeling and got nowhere.

We had users. We had revenue.

But we were stuck in this weird middle zone where people liked the product, but they didn’t need it.

Value:

After some real soul searching, I think I finally figured out what product market fit actually means.

It’s when a specific group of people finds your product, uses it every day, tells their friends, and gets frustrated when something doesn’t work.

In short, it’s when the market demands the product, not the other way around.
