Your daily LinkedIn post idea, by The Content Lab
Question: What’s something first-time founders should stop worrying about?
Below is a rough example of what a post could look like for this prompt. Feel free to edit it to reflect your own experience.
Post Template:
Hook:
I almost killed a close, first-time “founder” friend of mine.
told me he wasn’t ready to share his product publicly.
Tease:
The guy’s brilliant, adaptable, has all the makings of a great builder.
Issue is that he won’t tell anyone about this great invention.
He has a legitimate working MVP but is so deathly afraid scared someone might steal the idea that he’s only willing to show + discuss with friends and family.
Value:
I gave him some helpful, albeit blunt, advice.
No one gives a sh*t.
I get the instinct. When you build something from scratch, it feels personal. You want to protect it.
But 99.999% of people are wayyyyy too busy to even think about copying your grand idea.
And even if someone, for some reason, tried, they wouldn’t have your insight, your context, or your vision.
