Your daily LinkedIn post idea, by The Content Lab
Question: What’s the hardest truth you’ve learned as a Founder?
Below is a rough example of what a post could look like for this prompt. Feel free to edit it to reflect your own experience.
Post Template:
Hook:
Something incredibly interesting that I’ve learned in the past few months is that there’s no way to be comfortable as a good founder.
The feeling of comfort just does not exist.
Tease:
It sounds kind of crazy, almost grim, to say, but it’s really true.
In the past couple of months, we’ve thank God seen tremendous growth at Orca.
But with that growth comes the need for much more focus on CS.
You need your clients to be happy and to feel taken care of with the best possible service.
Then a client churns. Maybe even a couple. And you realize that if you don’t keep selling like a fucking tactical tiger, you’ll go extinct faster than a dodo bird.
Value:
I’ve heard a lot of people on LinkedIn say that Foundership (I like that word) is learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable.
But I think it’s much more than that.
I think it’s having to accept that you will not be comfortable from the jump until the end of the game, which is acquisition, hiring a new CEO, or death.
There is no way out of the uncomfortable.
